  1. Great project and beautiful result as usual!! Questions, was the Laburnum wood green when you turned it? It would seem like it would be or it would be cracked from drying…I think. I noticed you had sanding dust so now I'm wondering if it was green or dry. Perhaps you turned it green and let it dry some off camera before you finished turning it? If it was green, did you have any problems with the fit of the glued rings after it fully dried? Please advise. I really want to try this project!! Very neat!! Thanks, Myles

LOL Glad you help us newbies with the info re tools and speeds, it is a big help so thanks for that – like the Simon Hope pro carbide tool (!!)
