  1. Nice job, I would have made the handle a bit longer. Also, when I cast stuff using PVC pipe as a mold, I split it in half before hand, then use thick rubber bands or painters tape to hold the mold together. I did it how you did at first, and it was a pain getting the piece out of the mold. Scrapers also work well with turning Resins as well, esp. Negative Rake Scrapers, like Carbide they don't get blunt as quickly as cutting edge tools.
