Woodturning a Snowflake Bowl – Resin Art with Changing Colors

Woodturning a Snowflake Bowl - Resin Art with Changing Colors
Wood turning with epoxy resin and a special feature. A color changing snowflake. Free hand router work with a nice chunk of figured maple, turning wood on a lathe, and a little bit of snow falling makes a perfect day.

  1. Makes my week, a notice that there is a new RH video and a wonderful one at that. It is snowing outside and I am watching my favorite hobby.

  2. Great looking bowl. You must have known that I was going to ask what resin you used on your projects. And the color charge was cool.

  3. Hey Rod Merry Christmas!! You got another masterpiece going here!! Awesome well done. β›„β›„β›„πŸŽ…πŸŽ…πŸŽ…πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„

  4. always enjoy seeing your work. But, out of curiosity, why is the bottom of the bowl blank in the center, but the top of the bowl shows the little triangle/diamond segments?

  5. Well done Rod!Β  I especially like the way the color changes with the temperature. That bowl looks like it will hold a lot of holiday goodies!

  6. Fascinating watching the bowl take shape. Great woodgrain pattern. Love that the resin changes color.
Always look forward to Friday to see your next project. Thank you for sharing your talent.
