  2. If I understand the build concept correctly, this reminds me of some CNC v-carve inlay techniques, random example here

    , but you're doing it by hand on a much larger piece. Should be a fun time!

  3. How do you go about measuring and marking accurate frets with only hand tools and no jig? Or is it worth making an accurate jig even for a hobbyist?
