  1. There is no such thing as lacquer fumes. Metal burning produces fumes. Aerosols produce vapors as they off-gas.

  2. Spraying accelerator on a CA finish can cause a cloudy bloom to develop as much as a month later. It is better to not apply accelerator at all, and just wait another 60 seconds between coats to allow time for the CA to set up. Also, avoid white paper kitchen towels, as they tend to accelerate the curing…if you can find the blue paper shop towels, they don't accelerate the curing (I don't know why), and you can apply a thin coat quite easily.
