Making a Dark Souls Wood Grain Ring out of Mokume Gane

Making a Dark Souls Wood Grain Ring out of Mokume Gane
In today’s video, Patrick Adair designs a ring patterned after the wood grain ring in Dark Souls. He uses mokume gane in order to replicate the wood grain texture of the ring in the video game. The copper and brass in the ring are etched in acid to reveal the pattern at the end of the video!

  1. Wait, didn't you already make a wood grain ring? Would be great to see other rings too, not just different materials made into the same ring.
edit: the end result was pretty much ruined, it looks like just a melted clump with really no resemblance to the original from the game.

  2. Will you try to make a ring out of a pice of some instrument preferably a piano thanks.

By the way i love your channel great job on all of the hard work.
