  1. What are your thoughts on using the tank from a natural gas water heater? I have a 30 gallon water heater that I could sacrifice. I've never dissected one, so I'm just curious at this point. I've got it on hand, so I'd like to start with that if I can.

  2. As per david robert 2007 idea a coil down the inside of the chimney gravity fed from the top with a one way valve should theoretically power the turbo !!

  3. I just had a great idea – in theory you could attach a small boiler to the stove and use the steam pressure to drive an old turbo, the other side of the turbo could then blow air into the burner, replacing the electric fan. Probably wouldn't work too well in practice but…
