Welcome to Russell’sWoodShed.

Todays project: Leopold Bench – weekend wood project
Project time: 1 hour + painting and drying time
Project Notes: This was a fun project. It can be done using only a circular saw and drill.
Materials: 2×8 Legs cut on a 30 degree angle, 2 – 33″ long, 2 – 18″ long.
2×6 back – 33″ long, 2×10 seat – 30″long, 6 – 3/8″ bolts 4″ long, 6 washers and nuts, 10 – 3″ screws
(Trimble Sketchup was used for the 3D model animation.)
Our original templates are designed in Inkscape on a MacBook Pro.
The videos are recorded using a GoPro Hero4 (great camera) or an iPhone. We use iMovie on a Mac to edit our videos.
The music in our videos comes from the sound library on the mac which is “royalty free”.
