Learn Basic Woodworking Joinery: Bookshelf Build

Learn Basic Woodworking Joinery: Bookshelf Build
I built another tusk bookshelf in preparation to teach basic woodworking joinery at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking a few months ago. Watch how I built this beautiful, sturdy bookshelf using fairly easy joinery techniques and a limited hand tool heavy toolkit. My favorite joint right now is the keyed or “tusk” tenon, and it’s making an appearance in a lot of my furniture as of late.
