  1. For people who don't have a silhouette you can use carbon paper and a regular printer to do the same thing. Carbon paper is $2.

  2. Cool, but seems labor intensive. Wouldn't this be easier to make a stencil out of something that wont burn easily, tape the stencil to the object and then use an open flame to burn the wood while the stencil is in place?
