How to make a knife block (that can hold a pizza cutter) // Woodworking
I make a knife block using Brazilian Cherry or Jatoba. This is a great scrap wood project and the knife block matches perfectly with the set of knives and pizza cutter from R. Murphy Knives. The knives are made in America with super sharp high carbon steel blades and are available for sale at The Grommet, which features interesting and well made products from local Makers and small businesses.

  1. Belo trabalho John. Vou fazer um também trabalho numa fábrica que faz facas. E sou marceneiro nas horas vagas. Abraço de Caxias do sul RS 🇧🇷.

  2. Love the T-shirts and your channel. Unfortunately comes to over $50 Australian dollars with shipping. Love to support your work but might wait for a sale.

  3. Hi! I want to make my first wood project for a present. It will be a clock made out of a slice of oak tree or abies pinsapo. I dont know if to keep the bark and either which kind of varnish to use. Big thanks for any advice!

  4. Looks great, love that pizza cutter. Did you have any problems with the glue going into the cut outs for the blades?

  5. Very nice Jon, and as an added bonus, it will remind you of your dad I would think. Thanks for sharing!

  6. did you say you had the wood from a job 20 years ago, well worth holding onto, that turned out great
